Here I am with another book review. This is a book titled Thank You Love by Ayush Gupta.
All human energy comes from that one thought. All the pain that we bear and the joys that we celebrate are the results of our thoughts at any moment. Strange isn’t it?
When Akshita was making her choices, Rayan made his. He refused to get over Herr and chose to own her absence in his heart and mind.
Thank You Love describes how sitting on the floor in silence changed the world of ‘Rayan’. He realized that love is not something that happens between two people, instead it’s an enduring quality within people. He realized that love is not something that you do, but is the way you are.
He re-moulds one of the most important event of his life into a spark, re-channelizes it and heads towards something that would later change the course of his life.
The story of Rayan moves through ups and downs leading to the unexplained behavior of his girlfriend of many years Akshita. The slow movement of her love to indifference, is the sole base of the story of ‘Thank You Love’.
Rayan is a confused and unclear man who sometimes blames himself for the tough times he is facing else he looks for excuses. He holds Akshita responsible and thinks she is behaving awkwardly due to her new job and new place.
On the whole the story keeps you intrigued till you realize that she is firm on her decisions. It is clear to the reader yet unclear to Rayan that things aren’t the same anymore. Yet nearing the last pages, it just goes more philosophical and reflective. It leaves you wondering what is more important, and is that of equal importance or a priority for the others. What’s your priority number 1 might just be a lesser one for the other!
The story starts with the distraught and anxious state of mind of Rayan and ends with the attainment of peace within him. The strange encounter with a stranger makes him change, leads to the realization and a transformed Rayan is seen at the end of the book.
I would give it a 3/5.
If you like to read a simple and young adult romance, this may fit your bill.
Thanks for reading the review!
Lots of love and best wishes!
