Day 24 Twenty-four Carat Gold
June 24, 1509. Henry VIII was crowned King of England.
Henry the eighth valued a male heir. He wanted one. He wanted a wife who could give him one. He left the Church and created his own church so he could get divorced and marry a new wife.
Twenty-four carat gold is valuable. Some value riches above all else.
Tell us what is valuable to you. What do you treasure? Write about your treasure.
I am back, and this weekend I’ve tried to reduce down the gap in the challenge! So day 24, it is now!
The most valuable things for me, which I treasure, are as follows:
1. My family. They mean the most to me. They mean a lot to each one of us.
2. My friends. I do make friends easily, but good friends are only those who have stayed back. Many of those people who start by being friends slowly drift away.
3. My books. My dream – other than being a writer/author – is to have my own library for myself and run a bookshop. A part of my collection, you all had seen as part of the challenge.
4. My gadgets. I need my mobile for the chats, my Dell tab for helping me write the posts and stories. I get onto my laptop only when I need to access some websites. Yet it is a treasure of mine for me! 😁
So there I finished my day 24. Now just one day lapse! 😋😄
Hope all had a wonderful weekend. May the coming week bring the good things in life!
Stay happy and blessed all!
S.F.R.
I also would love to have a little bookshop! (and a library, of course 😉 ) Sadly bookshops are getting more and more out of fashion… 😦
