Silent words, she spoke.

A beautiful drawing by my wonderful friend and muse (in her own words) Miss Gentileschi from secretartexpedition inspired me just now! Miss, your work strikes chords in me!

You should check out her beautiful drawings and sketches on her blog. How much I love it there! The one that inspired me can be seen here:

The Silence.

Empty handed,
Chained to loneliness,
                       Gloom enclosing,
                       Solemn expressions,
Darkness prevailing,
Sadness in eyes,
                       Blizzards of pain in heart,
                       Quivering skin,
Trembling fingers,
Dying feelings within,
                       Sitting silently,
                       Awaiting in solitude.
